Galleria Arad follows the first three Galleria shopping centers developed in Buzau, Piatra Neamt and Suceava, continuing the expansion started by Globe Trade Center in Romania. The delivery date for Galleria Arad is set for late 2008.

After Timisoara, Arad is the second town at the western border passing through an intense retail development period, enjoying a high potential of the market. So close to the occidental style, the town was waiting for a long time to welcome the launch of a modern shopping center. Both retailers and residents have shown keen enthusiast on such a project.

GTC meets to their expectations and delivers Galleria Arad, an approximately 30,000 sqm gross leasable area shopping center. The project is designed to offer maximum of comfort to the visitors, accommodating almost 1,300 car parking spaces indoor, at the street and underground levels.
Displayed on two retail levels, Galleria will include more than a few anchors. The goal is to include in the catchment area of the center a wide range of shopping and entertainment requests, still not covered within the existing retail schemes.

At the first floor, the shopping center will offer a 3,000 sqm supermarket, meant to answer the basic products demand, which continues to be high on the market. On the same level, Galleria will accommodate three other large anchor stores with sizes around 1,000 sqm up to 1,500 sqm GLA.

Upstairs, the shopper is invited to have a sit in the food court area and choose a menu from the various restaurants and fast foods located at the second floor. Should he have enough time, instead of dessert, he can stop and watch a movie at the same level. Three more medium stores around 500 - 1,000 sqm are waiting at the second floor, besides the small-size different retail type shops, spread into the entire center.
